World of Cookbooks

On this page you can find several of the cookbooks that inspired Melanie’s cooking.

The Real Meal Revolution by Tim Noakes

If you’re thinking about changing your eating habits and going for a healthier diet, this is the book for you. You’ll learn everything about leaving out carbs and sugar, and creating high-protein dishes with balanced and healthy fats. We got this book July 2014 on our trip to South Africa, and it’s been a major inspiration ever since.

Nobu

Nobu is one of the greatest chefs of all times, in my humble opinion. He plays with different ingredients and brings different cultures together. My favorite book is “Nobu West” where he combines Japanese cuisine with local ingredients that are easy to find in Western countries. He’s a master of sequencing food so that various dishes build up to an unbeatable taste experience.

Jamie Oliver

Jamie creates delicious recipes out of fresh ingredients, especially with focus on all-day food, locally sourced ingredients, and a twist of Italian influence.
